The marks
The Castwright name, the Castwave mark (the waveform-and-book logo), and the visual identity system are all rights reserved. They are not covered by the software's FSL licence.
What's permitted
Fair use in editorial contexts — writing about Castwright, reviewing the product, linking to this site — is welcome. You may use the name "Castwright" to refer accurately to the product.
When reproducing the logo or wordmark in an article or review, use the assets from this site and reproduce them without modification.
What's not permitted
- Using the Castwright name or Castwave mark to imply endorsement or affiliation that doesn't exist.
- Using the marks for a competing product or service.
- Modifying the logo or wordmark.
- Registering a business name, domain, or handle that incorporates "Castwright" without permission.
